However, check the section to see how you might use devices that are not listed here. Trackers and Drivers The interface between Touch Player and the multi-touch displays are the so-called Trackers. Most Touch Player Trackers have direct control over the multi-touch hardware. These Trackers are hardware drivers programmed by sedna to maintain a smooth and fast operation of multi-touch displays. Note: If your display is on the list of supported devices below, you don't need to install special drivers on the Player Mac. Moreover, installing such a driver may obstruct the operation of Trackers.

Therefore, if you encounter issues with a supported display, make sure to remove the manufacturer's driver from the corresponding Mac. Other Trackers offer connection to devices that are not directly supported, e.g. The 'TUIO Tracker Bridge'. These Trackers constitute a bridge to a proprietary driver provided by the corresponding manufacturer. TUIO (Tangible User Interface Objects) is a protocol commonly used to control multi-touch devices. To make of use these drivers, download the corresponding installation files for your operating system, start the installation and follow the instructions given. After completing the installation, the driver must be set up to send data via the standard TUIO address and port.

Also, make sure that the mouse emulation mode is turned off, if the driver offers this option. The devices provided by PQ Labs and ZaagTech deserve special mention. The corresponding devices listed below are no displays, but infrared touch overlays that can be mounted over any display of the right size. If you employ one of these overlays, you need to install the manufacturer's TUIO driver and select the Tuio Tracker Bridge in the Touch Player Preferences.
